Session Description:

This focus group will gather opinions and perspectives from IT executives on their approach, drivers, challenges and considerations around medical image management, with an emphasis on legacy/historical DICOM images. Application types discussed will include PACS, VNAs, RIS, and DICOM Viewers. Topics will range from functionality requirements to vendor selection to payment models. It will seek to understand the ideal scenario for medical image management and storage from a technology and cost standpoint.
